Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

PetTrace earns a commission from qualifying purchases made through links to Chewy and Petco. This costs you nothing extra. We only show you Rx-diet retailers we have affiliate relationships with; we recommend a diet based on what your veterinarian has prescribed, not based on what pays us the most.

How it works

When you tap a link to Chewy or Petco from inside PetTrace's Rx Food Locator, a tracking parameter is added to the destination URL. If you complete a purchase within their cookie window (typically 15 days for Chewy, similar for Petco), the retailer attributes the sale to PetTrace and pays Finn Digital a commission — typically a single-digit percentage of the order value.

Our editorial policy

• We never alter the Rx diet category recommended to you based on commission rate. The category (renal, urinary, hydrolyzed protein, gastrointestinal, etc.) comes from what your veterinarian prescribed.
• We show both Chewy and Petco, plus a "vet direct" option that is non-affiliated, for every Rx category we support.
• We do not accept payment to feature any specific brand of food.
• We do not write or modify retailer product reviews.

What we don't share with the affiliate network

The retailer's tracking cookie attributes the sale on their side; we do not transmit your identity, email, or pet's diet history to Chewy, Petco, or their affiliate networks. See our Privacy Policy for the full data flow.

Other affiliate relationships

PetTrace currently has affiliate relationships only with Chewy (via Impact) and Petco. If we add additional affiliate partners in a future release, we will update this page and prompt for renewed acknowledgement in-app.
