Crossed Alibis privacy policy
Updated October 3, 2026Your casebook stays on your device
Crossed Alibis is made by Finn Digital LLC. The game works offline and does not send your gameplay, notes, player names, rankings or settings to us. There are no accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or tracking in the game.
What the game saves
Puzzle letters, case findings, notes, daily progress, difficulty and accessibility settings, local player names and championship results are stored on your device. The native app keeps a second local copy of your casebook to help recover progress. Rankings compare players on the same device; they are not uploaded to an online leaderboard.
Backups and sharing
Export backup and Share findings only share information when you choose to use them. You choose the destination in your device’s share or save controls. Backups include your casebook, written notes and local player names. Services you choose to receive these files or messages handle them under their own policies. Your operating system may also include app data in device backups, depending on your device settings.
Your choices
Use Settings → Export backup to keep a copy. Settings → Reset all progress clears the active casebook and local tournament records after confirmation. Previously exported files, shared messages and operating-system backups remain wherever you saved them; delete those separately if you wish.
Contact and support
If you email contact@finndigital.net, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send so we can respond. Do not include private casebook notes or other sensitive information unless needed for your request. Email delivery and any websites you visit use their own service providers; they are separate from offline gameplay.
Changes
This policy describes version 1.0.0. If the game’s data handling changes, we will update this policy with the affected release.
