Frequently asked

What is EasySign?

EasySign is EasyRealty's built-in electronic-signature engine for real-estate documents. You can prepare a purchase agreement, route it to buyer, seller, and agent, collect signatures and initials in a guided flow, and produce a completed, encrypted contract with a Certificate of Completion — all on your iPhone or iPad, no desktop or separate signing service required.

How does field auto-detection work?

Scan or import a contract and EasySign locates every signature, initial, and date block and tags each to a role — buyer, seller, or agent. It reads typed (fillable) PDF fields directly and uses on-device text recognition for scanned pages. Always glance over the detected fields before signing; you can drag, re-assign, add, or remove any field in the field editor.

Are EasySign signatures legally binding?

Electronic signatures are legally recognized under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA (New York uses ESRA). EasySign captures the four pillars courts look for: intent to sign, consent to do business electronically, attribution (identity verification via Face ID/Touch ID), and a retained, tamper-evident record. Each completed contract includes a Certificate of Completion with the audit trail. EasySign is not a notarization service and is not for documents excluded from ESIGN/UETA — see Terms.

How are my signed contracts secured?

Signed documents, signature images, and the audit trail are stored AES-256-GCM encrypted on your device, protected by iOS Data Protection. The audit trail is a keyed (HMAC-SHA256) tamper-evident chain, and each signer's signature is bound to the document and verifiable. Your contracts are not uploaded to a server to be signed.

Can I represent both sides, or sign with a couple?

Yes. EasySign models real-estate roles: buyer, seller, buyer's agent, seller's agent, and dual agent (one agent for both sides). It also supports co-buyers and co-sellers, splitting a side's signature blocks between the two people.

How much does EasyRealty cost?

Start with a free trial. After that, EasyRealty Pro is $19.99/month for a solo agent and EasyRealty Team is $79.99/month for brokerages — billed through your Apple ID. Cancel anytime.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → EasyRealty → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. To restore a purchase made on another device, open EasyRealty → Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID.

Where is my data stored?

EasyRealty is on-device first: your deals, contacts, and documents are stored on your device. Signed contracts are encrypted at rest. Market data (mortgage rates, Census, flood zones, map addresses) comes from public APIs and is used to display information to you. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

How do I delete my data?

Because your records live on your device, deleting the app removes them. You can also clear data in Profile → Settings. For help, email from the address on your account.
