Delete your SafePlate account and data
SafePlate is published by Finn Digital LLC. You can request deletion here even if you no longer have the app.
Request deletion by email
Email a SafePlate deletion request to [email protected]. If the link does not open, use any email app and the subject “SafePlate account and data deletion.”
Send the request from the email linked to SafePlate where possible. Tell us whether you use Android or iOS and whether you want the whole account deleted or particular data removed. For an anonymous account, include any account identifier available in the app or a description that helps us locate it. We may request reasonable ownership verification. Never send your password, payment-card details, identity documents or purchase tokens in the initial message.
Delete within the app
On Android, open Profile → Account → Delete account and follow the confirmation and sign-in prompts. On iOS, use the Delete Account control in Profile settings. Keep the app online while deletion runs and check that it reports success.
What the request covers
A whole-account request covers the SafePlate authentication account, cloud family profiles and photos, cloud scan history, recall-notification records and submitted AI reports associated with it. The Android in-app deletion flow also removes local profiles, history, reaction photos, cached data and reminders on that device. An email request cannot remotely erase data stored only on an offline device; clear its app data or uninstall after saving anything you want to keep.
Limited records required for transaction reconciliation, fraud prevention, security or legal obligations may be retained. Shared cards and exports already held by recipients cannot be withdrawn. We aim to respond within 30 days and will explain any further verification or retention that applies.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Use Apple Settings → Subscriptions or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions to avoid future renewal charges.
Read the SafePlate Privacy Policy for details about data use and storage.
