How does SafePlate check ingredients?
It compares available ingredient text with the allergies you configure. Photo recognition and product databases can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the manufacturer’s label and ask the person preparing the food about ingredients and cross-contact.
What does PRO include?
Open Manage Subscription in the app to see the current features, usage limits and store prices. Android offers monthly and annual subscriptions. Emergency tools and family allergy cards remain available without a subscription. Android’s local introductory trial does not charge automatically.
How do I cancel or restore a subscription?
On iOS, manage it in Settings → Subscriptions. On Android, use Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. In SafePlate Profile, Restore purchases checks the current store account. Use the original SafePlate account and the store account that made the purchase.
How do family profiles and cards work?
Add or edit profiles in the Profile tab. Android includes cards in 11 languages. A shared card contains the information you selected; anyone with the card link can read it. The browser card is a snapshot and does not update when you edit the original profile.
How do I delete my data?
Use the in-app account-deletion control or request account and data deletion without the app. Turning backup off or signing out does not delete cloud data. Cancel a store subscription separately.
Does AI scanning upload my photo?
Cloud AI scanning uploads the selected photo only after consent. Barcode detection and normal label text recognition run locally. Android does not offer offline food-photo recognition. Read the Privacy Policy for backup, diagnostics and provider details.
