Privacy Policy

Revivo ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Finn Digital LLC. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, which third parties receive it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Revivo Android and iOS apps and the Revivo pages at finndigital.net.

Information We Collect

• Photos you upload. Images you choose to enhance or animate are uploaded to our secure cloud storage so the AI pipeline can process them. You remain the owner of your photos at all times. Photos are linked to your Revivo user identifier.
• Face processing and optional People profiles. Face detection runs on your device. If you choose People profiles, Revivo calculates a numeric face representation on the device and stores it in your account with the name and reference photos you supply. This supports matching people in your saved library and optional appearance preservation. Animation with a selected person may send reference photos to Replicate. Delete a People profile from its detail screen, or request account deletion to remove all profiles.
• Account identifiers. When you sign in with Apple or Google (optional), we receive a Firebase User ID and may receive a name and email address (including an Apple relay address). If you do not sign in, we use an anonymous Firebase user ID to associate your activity and saved content. Android purchases require signing in with Google so access can be recovered.
• Subscription status. Google Play or the App Store provides purchase information used to verify access and deliver credits. On Android, Revivo processes product IDs, purchase tokens and order references, and sends Google Play a hashed Revivo account identifier. The stores process payment details; Revivo does not receive your payment-card number.
• Content you create. We process restoration instructions, captions, album information, generated videos and narration audio, and reports or support requests you choose to submit.
• App analytics. Firebase Analytics collects app interactions, app-instance and device identifiers (including advertising identifiers where available), device and operating-system information, and approximate location derived from network information. We do not request GPS or precise location access. Analytics helps us understand use and improve reliability.
• Diagnostic data. If the app crashes, we collect crash reports and diagnostic identifiers via Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose and fix the problem.
• Performance data. Aggregated, non-personally-identifying timing metrics via Firebase Performance Monitoring.
• Device information. Basic device model and Android or iOS version, for compatibility and bug reports.

How We Use Your Information

• To enhance, colorize, and animate the photos you upload.
• To organize your restored photos into your private Heritage Albums.
• To generate captions and short reel scripts for photos you save.
• To synthesize narration audio for reels you choose to narrate.
• To verify your subscription status and provision the correct features.
• To diagnose and fix crashes or technical problems.
• To respond to support inquiries you send us.

How We Do Not Use Your Information

• We do not train any AI models on your photos.
• We do not sell your personal data or photos to anyone.
• We do not use your data for third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or ad targeting.
• You can deliberately share photos, videos, albums or download links. Anyone with an exported copy or a working download link may access that content. Revivo cannot remove copies other people have saved.
• People matching is optional and uses the profiles you create; see the face-processing disclosure above.

Third-Party Sub-Processors

Revivo uses the following third-party services to deliver the app. The data sent depends on the feature you select. The linked provider policies describe their processing and retention terms.

• fal.ai (restoration, colorization, upscaling, Super Enhance and animation). Receives: the image pixels you submit for enhancement or animation. fal.ai privacy policy.
• Replicate (optional appearance preservation during animation). Receives: selected reference photos and the source photo when using that feature. Replicate privacy policy.
• Anthropic (Claude, for photo-caption generation). Receives: short textual prompts describing your photo and optionally a low-resolution version of the enhanced image. Anthropic privacy policy.
• Google Gemini (reel-script generation and voice synthesis). Receives: your album context and captions when you request a script, and the script text you choose to narrate. It does not receive your photos. Google privacy policy.
• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring). Hosts your Revivo account, photos, and app metadata in the US region. Firebase privacy policy.
• Google Play (Android purchases and subscription verification). Google privacy policy.
• Apple (StoreKit for subscriptions; Sign in with Apple for optional account). Handles payments and, if chosen, provides your Apple-relay email. Apple privacy policy.

Before your first photo upload, Revivo presents an in-app consent sheet that discloses these sub-processors and requires your affirmative acceptance.

Data Storage & Retention

Your photos and restored results are stored in Google Firebase Storage (US region). Metadata about your photos, albums, and captions is stored in Firestore. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.

Request photo or account deletion in the app, or use the web deletion request process. Account deletion covers photos, restored versions, animation files, People profiles and references, albums and sharing records. Deletion is performed by a server process so closing the app does not cancel an accepted request. Limited purchase-verification and deletion records may be retained to prevent duplicate credit claims and enforce deletion; these do not include the deleted photos.

Third-party provider retention follows the provider terms linked above. A completed request cannot withdraw copies already exported or saved by a recipient. Contact us about a deletion request that has not completed.

In-app AI reports contain your chosen reason, description, account identifier and any referenced content IDs. Authorized support staff can review these reports. Reports expire after 90 days and are removed as part of account deletion.

Photo Animation & AI Content

Revivo uses generative AI to animate still photos into short video clips. You retain ownership of animated outputs for personal use. When sharing AI-generated animations publicly, we recommend disclosing that the content was AI-generated. Do not use Revivo to animate a photo of a living person without their knowledge or consent.

If a photo or animation violates someone's rights (for example, a photo used without consent), please email [email protected] with the subject line "Takedown Request" and we will remove the content within 48 hours in accordance with the TAKE IT DOWN Act.

Your Rights

You may:

• Access, correct, or delete your photos and account data at any time from within the app
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Request a copy of your data we hold about you
• Withdraw consent to third-party AI processing (this disables enhancement but the app still runs)
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings › Delete Account

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR) have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to data portability, the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

We do not "sell" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

International Data Transfers

Revivo's servers and Firebase Storage are located in the United States. By using Revivo from outside the US, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in the US, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. We apply the same safeguards to all user data regardless of location.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of confirming the breach, in accordance with applicable law.

Children's Privacy

Revivo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. The "Last updated" date above indicates when the current version took effect.
